Services

AI consulting services, from a two-session workshop to a standing partnership.

Four ways to buy, five areas we build in. Most engagements start with an AI Readiness Assessment, because a roadmap you own is a much cheaper way to find out whether this is worth doing than a build you regret.

Which service is right for us?

It depends on one thing: how much you already know about where AI would help you.

If none of those quite fit, the strategy call sorts it out in half an hour. We would rather point you at the right rung than sell you the expensive one.

How you buy

What are the four ways to work with you?

Four levels of commitment. Each one stands alone and finishes with something you own. None of them requires the next one.

/ 01

AI Leadership Workshop

AI training for leadership, so your team stops arguing from different definitions.

Two facilitated working sessions, typically across two weeks. Your team leaves with a plain-English map of where AI is genuinely useful in your industry, a shortlist of candidate opportunities specific to your operations, a written action plan with owners and sequence, and an honest list of what we recommend you do not pursue.

Objection it answers: "We don't know enough to know what to ask for."

Engagement shape: Two sessions. Fixed scope. No technical prerequisites.

AI Readiness Assessment

Two to four weeks inside your operations, and a roadmap you could hand to anyone.

We map how your business actually runs, find where AI creates measurable value, and rank every opportunity by return and effort. You get a costed, phased roadmap with a modeled return on the top recommendations, plus a written statement of what is not worth automating. It is a document you own, not a slide deck of possibilities.

Objection it answers: "How do I know this is worth real money before I spend real money?"

Engagement shape: 2 to 4 weeks. Fixed scope, fixed fee, defined deliverable. No obligation to build with us.

/ 03

Implementation Sprint

Built around how you actually work. Owned by you from day one.

We build, integrate, and test the systems the assessment prioritized. Testing runs against real cases from your business rather than demo data. You get documentation, handover, training for the people who will use it daily, and a measurement approach tied to the metric agreed up front.

Follows from: an assessment or a workshop. A sprint carries out a plan we wrote, so it is not sold on its own.

Objection it answers: "We have been talking about this for a year and nothing has shipped."

Engagement shape: Scoped per system, typically 4 to 8 weeks per build. Multiple systems are sequenced, never run in parallel. You own what we build. No vendor lock-in.

/ 04

Ongoing AI Partnership

The work keeps going after the project ends.

A monthly engagement where we hold the strategy, ship the next build, and keep the guardrails current as the technology moves. Includes ongoing roadmap ownership, a build queue prioritized quarterly, governance and safe-use standards, team enablement as new capabilities land, and monthly reporting against the metrics we agreed.

Objection it answers: "We need this to keep working after the consultants leave."

Engagement shape: A monthly AI managed services engagement. Scope reviewed quarterly, 12-month minimum initial term.

What gets built

What kinds of AI systems do you actually build?

The ladder above describes how you buy. This describes what actually gets built. The first four areas come from four questions we ask about any business: what could we do faster, what could we offer that used to be too expensive, what would make this work more profitable, and what could we repeat without hiring. The fifth is newer, and it asks whether your customers can find you now that AI answers their search.

Every example below is a real build pattern, not a hypothetical. They are illustrations, though, not a fixed menu. What gets built for you is decided by the assessment.

What could we do faster?

Business Process Automation

Also called: workflow automation, or AI automation for small business.

We automate the repetitive work that slows your team down, so the hours go back into work that actually needs a person.

Who it is for: Any business where skilled people spend real time transcribing, summarizing, drafting, formatting, chasing, or re-entering information that already exists somewhere else.

  • Discovery call summarizer: transcripts into summaries, action items, pain points, and next steps
  • Proposal draft builder: a first draft from intake answers and meeting notes
  • Meeting notes to task list, organized by person, deadline, and priority
  • Email response assistant for common client questions
  • Client onboarding packet builder: welcome guide, timeline, and checklist
  • Review response assistant: quick, on-brand replies to customer reviews
  • Project brief generator: messy client notes into a clear scope
  • Content repurposing assistant: one piece becomes posts, emails, and short-form

The KPI: Hours reclaimed per week, against a baseline we establish before the build.

What could we offer now that used to be too expensive, technical, or complicated?

Customer-Facing AI

Also called: AI customer service automation, custom AI assistants, or a website chatbot, though it covers more than chat.

Assistants, chatbots, tools, and guided experiences that help your customers get answers and make decisions, without adding headcount.

Who it is for: Businesses losing prospects to slow response times, fielding the same twenty questions every week, or asking customers to make a complicated choice with no guidance.

  • Website chat assistant answering from your services, FAQs, and policies
  • Custom quote builder: customers configure a service and receive an estimate
  • Interactive package selector, guided by goal, budget, or timeline
  • Customer support assistant giving consistent answers to common questions
  • Intake assistants that gather structured information before a consultation
  • Recommendation quiz matching a customer to the right service path
  • Industry-specific calculator: pricing, return, savings, or readiness
  • Internal knowledge base assistant trained on your SOPs and policies

The KPI: Response time, qualified inquiries captured, and questions resolved without a human touch.

What would make this service more profitable?

Sales & Revenue Operations

Systems that protect margin on the work you already do: faster quoting, better-qualified leads, tighter scope, and reporting that writes itself.

Who it is for: Service businesses whose revenue looks healthy but whose margin does not, usually because of unbilled scope creep, slow follow-up, or time lost to reporting.

  • Proposal automation system for customized proposals, scopes, and pricing options
  • Lead qualification assistant scoring by fit, urgency, budget, and need
  • Client intake analyzer surfacing goals, red flags, and missing information
  • Scope-of-work builder that turns project details into a scope that protects profit
  • Change request analyzer: in scope, out of scope, or billable
  • Monthly reporting generator turning performance data into a client-ready report
  • Add-on opportunity finder for existing clients
  • Retainer value summary showing clients what they received this month
  • Profit leak finder reviewing repeated tasks, delays, and revisions

The KPI: Time to proposal, proposal-to-close rate, and hours spent on non-billable admin.

What could we repeat, automate, license, or sell?

Scale & Leverage

Systems that let you serve more customers without adding proportional labor, and turn one-off expertise into something repeatable.

Who it is for: Businesses at a ceiling where the only apparent path to growth is hiring, and owners whose expertise currently lives entirely in their own head and calendar.

  • Productized service intake system with defined inputs and outputs
  • Self-guided audit tool prospects complete before booking a call
  • Lead magnet quiz that captures leads while genuinely helping people
  • Automated nurture system segmented by interest, score, or fit
  • Custom assistant for your clients, trained on their strategy and processes
  • Client portal assistant for documents, timelines, and project updates
  • Multi-location content system for franchises and multi-site brands
  • Client education library built from your repeated explanations
  • Licensable tool or calculator, packaged so it can be sold on

The KPI: Clients served per staff member, and revenue that is not tied to owner hours.

Are we visible when AI answers the customer's question?

AI Search Visibility (AEO)

We measure exactly what ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot say about your business, then fix what is keeping you out of the answer.

Who it is for: Any business whose customers now start their search in an AI tool. Especially urgent for local and service businesses whose classic search traffic has softened with no obvious cause.

This is a full product line rather than a single build, with its own audit, its own scoring rubric, and its own remediation tiers.

Standard on every engagement

What is included in every engagement?

Five things are not optional and not priced separately. They are how we work.

One agreed metric

Before work starts we agree on the single number the engagement is judged by: hours saved, cost reduced, or revenue gained. Everything after that is measured against it.

You own what we build

No vendor lock-in. The systems, the configurations, the prompts, and the documentation are yours. If you fire us, everything keeps running.

Governance built in, not sold separately

Policy, guardrails, and safe-use standards come with the build. Governance is not a product anyone shops for, it is a reason to trust the products.

A build team already lined up

Website builds, landing pages, on-site schema, and conversion work are built by us, and they stay our responsibility until they work. You will know exactly who is doing the work before you commit. Nothing gets handed to a stranger and nothing waits while you audition vendors.

A reply within one business day

Every inquiry, every question during an engagement, every time.

Common questions about working with us.

What does an engagement cost?

We do not publish pricing, because the honest answer depends on scope and we would rather quote you than anchor you. What we do publish is shape: the AI Readiness Assessment is fixed-scope and fixed-fee across 2 to 4 weeks, Implementation Sprints run 4 to 8 weeks per system, and the Ongoing AI Partnership is a monthly engagement with a 12-month minimum initial term. You will have a number before you commit to anything.

Do we have to start with the assessment?

With us, effectively yes, and it is worth saying why rather than dressing it up. We build to carry out a plan we wrote, because we cannot stand behind a result we did not scope, and a build we did not diagnose is somebody else's guess with our name on it. A workshop can come first if the disagreement is at leadership level, but the build follows the strategy either way. If what you actually want is a system built to a spec you already have, that is a good thing to want and it is a build conversation rather than a strategy one. We will route you to CAL Design, our development and production partner.

Are we too small for this?

Probably not, and the test is not headcount. It is whether the same work happens often enough to be worth systematizing. A six-person firm producing forty proposals a month has more to gain than a sixty-person firm that produces four. If the repetition is not there, we will tell you on the call rather than after four weeks of interviews.

Do we need technical staff to make this work?

No. That assumption is usually what has stalled these projects elsewhere. We build inside the software your team already uses, we train the people who will use it daily, and we hand over documentation written for the person doing the job rather than for a developer. If a system needs an internal engineer to stay alive, we have built the wrong system.

What if you find nothing worth building?

Then that is the finding, and you get it in writing along with what we would do in your position instead. It is a real possible outcome, and it has to be for the assessment to be worth anything. An exercise that always concludes "buy the next thing" is not an assessment, it is a proposal with a longer runway.

Not sure which one you need?

That is the normal starting position, and it is exactly what the call is for. Tell us how the business runs and where the friction is, and we will come back within one business day with an honest read on which rung fits, or whether none of them do yet.
